This is one of my oldest shots. I had been to my native place, where there are a variety of flowering plants. Took this shot of Kanakambari, or Crossandra infundibuliformis there. The pretty bright flowers formed a natural glow against the dark background!
Captured this (and, of course, enhanced it) last night. I loved the way the clouds were structured then – it was like the clear skies and the rainy clouds were divided by a clear line. But this photo just shows the clouds when it was raining.
Took this photo in a resort we went to as office team outing. I modified the photo by adding more contrast, darkening it and bringing in a reddish tinge. The flower was reddish-pink to begin with, so it made it all the more prettier. 🙂
While returning from Kanyakuari, my friends and I took a short break from riding our bikes near a river – I don’t remember the name of it – but it was pretty wide, and a bit muddy – maybe because of the rains? But of course, we all couldn’t help but get a few shots, of the river, and ourselves beside it! 😀
Before coming back from my stay in Trivandrum, my parents and I made a trip to Kanyakumari. En route, we came to the Thirparappu Falls. And my mother pointed to this bunch of unripe fruits on a tree growing in abundance near the falls. Shutter chance! 🙂
This snap is taken from one of my workplace team outings. We were just lounging around on the chairs laid outside the resort, when I noticed this beautiful yellow autumn leaf fallen on a table, just waiting to be photographed. I took the shot!
A photo of a photo…no wait, of photography… 😛
This is a photo of when me and my sis were trying our photography skills on a couple of roses. Rather than capturing the roses, my little camera captured another camera instead! 🙂
